A Brief History
DINAR Technologies was started in 1999 to meet local business owners needs for a reputable LOCAL point of sale services company. Owner Gregg Wilkinson located to Kelowna in 1996 after establishing a successful COMTREX point of sale dealership in Winnipeg. Upon his arrival in Kelowna, he was involved with many local restaurateurs with the implementation of VIP food & beverage inventory control software, which often involved working with the customers existing point of sale systems. Within a short period of time he realized that most local restaurateurs were unhappy with their existing POS system, primarily due to the lack of service they were able to receive. With his vast knowledge of hospitality and retail POS software, and industry trained technical skills, he set out to assist local businesses and provide the high quality solutions, service, and support they deserve.
